Tonight I took the exam for YouTube Audience Growth Certification.

In the immortal words of Peter Venkman: “No Studying.

That said, I only got away with no studying because I’ve been using the YouTube CMS system for Content ID management for the past three years, and I know enough about audience develop to have written my own book on the subject.

Unless you actually took the six-hour (!) video course YouTube offers OR have lots of experience using the Content ID system, you’re not likely to pass. I was actually surprised to see so many Content ID related questions in the test, as the certificate is titled ‘Audience Growth’.
